but to be a truly effective and insightful observer of a system, you cannot be entrenched in the system. within the confines of a system, the view is simply too myopic, blurred by bias and prejudice. one has to be free from the system's pressures and influence to study the system objectively.
and it's possible to try so hard to understand a system that quite suddenly, u realize that u're not part of the system any longer. despite its intricate network of interactions, that web simply doesn't extend to u any more. and the greatest irony is with all that knowledge and insight gained from viewing through crystal lenses, u are no longer in any position to ripple the web...
